Canadian Institute on Student Affairs and Services (CISAS)

The CISAS program is designed to develop awareness and understanding of Student Affairs and Services.

Enhancing student success is not straightforward and you can’t do it without the support of your institutional partners. This program is intended to provide a solid foundation in the core issues and challenges common to the student affairs profession. It includes sessions on mission, values & foundational principles, organizational context in higher education, program design & assessment, legal context, fairness in administrative processes, and emerging issues and trends.

Who should attend?

CISAS is appropriate for those working in the field of student services at a university or college; including but not limited to: front-line personnel, academic advisors, or counselors; those brand new to the field, seasoned professionals, or academics with new responsibilities in the field of student service.
