Trudy Pound Curtis-Trudy Pound Curtis  joined York University in December of 2002 as the Assistant Vice-President Finance and Chief Financial Officer, where she is responsible for university wide leadership in corporate financial management, financial systems, planning and budgeting, procurement services, treasury, pension investment management, research administration and risk & insurance management. She is currently the AVP Finance and CFO at York University. One of the significant projects that Trudy led at York was the implementation of a new RCM (Responsibility Centered Management) Budget Model.

Trudy has over 30 years experience in higher education administration. In addition to her recent senior administrative at York Trudy spent 15 years at   Memorial University of Newfoundland, where she served as Comptroller.  During her tenure at Memorial, Trudy was given roles of increasing responsibility including taking on responsibility for Budget and Planning, Procurement Services, Treasury, Printing Services and General Administrative Office Support for the University

Trudy has been awarded the Ken Clements Distinguished Service Award in University Administration from CAUBO, the Distinguished Leadership Award from the Council of Finance Officers –Universities of Ontario and the President’s Award for Exemplary Service from Memorial University.
